If you arrive at night or somewhere around 2-3 am,I'd definitely recommend you to travel during the day.

Coming down to Malaysia via Air Asia is now quite cheap. I went to London on it, and the journey was ok -plus i was 5 months preggy!From Europe, you can only fly via Stansted in the UK.If you are coming down via Air Asia, and arriving at night (plus you are on budget!) just stay at the Tune hotel nearby and make a move the next day via bus to KL.You don't want to be lost in a foreign land in the mid of the night!Its a 7 minute walk from LCCT.
If you arrive in KLIA, there is no budget hotel nearby. If you want comfort, opt for Concorde Inn and above (about 40euro). Others are typical asian room style.

If from KLIA, take the express coach. RM10 for one way.It also will take you to KL Central. Trips from KLIA or LCCT (budget airport) will take approximately 1 hour.You can also take the express train, www.kliaekspres.com. RM35 adult on way and RM15 for children one way.
KL Central is a transit hub. From KL Central it would be easier for you to go anywhere else via bus,trains etc.Good luck!

The next day, you would want to take the www.skybus.com.my that would take you to KL Central.It only cost you RM9 for one way (which is less than 2euros).Look out for the schedule if you still want to travel to town upon arrival.
