When to wear when visiting religious places in Asia

Travelling to asian countries is heaven. We have warm weather all the time, although mostly humid, which doesn't require those in the west to travel with loads of clothing.

But when should you wear what is the questions. Many asian countries still holds their cultural value close to the heart. Of course we follow western styles as well but when you are not in the city or the beach, you might want to consider what you are wearing.

Appropriate clothing when visiting religious places:

• Men-long pants, t-shirt or shirt with no obscene pictures/wordings

• Women, long pants, long sleeve and scarf/shawl.

You may require to take your shoes/sandals off.Bring a plastic bag if you want to be safe that your sandals won't be stolen. There are places that provides you cover for your shoes if you decide to wear them and not take them off.
